MS Technical Services Sdn. Bhd. (MS TECH) was incorporated as a private limited company in September 1998. Our business started when we were called in by OGP Technical Services Sdn. Bhd. (OGP), an engineering and consultancy arm of a giant state-owned conglomerate PETRONAS, to supply technical and professional manpower to strengthen its plant turnaround management business. In its first turnaround management project at Petronas Melaka Refineries and with the involvement of our people, OGP managed to complete the project successfully, winning few accolades along the way, and marked an important milestone in its turnaround management business.

The continued expansion and progression of OGP and PETRONAS in the oil and gas industries locally and abroad bring about tremendous business opportunities for MS TECH. To date, MS TECH has mobilized close to 200 contract personnel with professional, technical, and clerical backgrounds throughout Malaysia and abroad. We have our presence in many countries, in Sudan, Chad, Cameroon, Vietnam, and Brunei.

We maintain a highly skilled, mobile, and motivated workforce to support client requirement. We have a database of over 3,000 highly skilled workforce, allowing us to offer quality workforce at the touch of a button across the globe. We help companies to complete certain projects or overcome certain challenges by providing flexible, highly mobile, skilled and dedicated labor resources.

In August 2003, after a corporate and business restructuring, we expanded our services to include background screening services for the purpose of employment, tenancy, and credit and loans. We continue to serve these value-added services to our traditional clients ExxonMobil and PETRONAS and expand the services to banks and credit companies, property owners, employers, etc. We invested heavily in people and infrastructures, IT hard wares and soft wares, machines, etc to enable us to offer data entry services, document management services, data processing, and statistical services to government agencies, departments, municipalities and industries.

Our outsource managed services team is capable to undertake drafting services, mail processing, mailroom and mail delivery services, facilities management, project management, feasibility studies and due diligent exercise, administrative services, outplacement services, payroll management services, and training plans and arrangement.

January 2004 marked another major milestone for MS TECH having been selected as one of the manpower services umbrella contractors for Petronas Carigali Sdn. Bhd. (PMO). MS TECH now serves both the onshore and offshore oil and gas industries.
